Place Must Visit…November 16th, 2009 by Juanni Sandjoto |
I’ve just come back from Siam Reap (Cambodia) yesterday, and I would say this is one of the places that you need to go while you can.
It has this amazing ancient heritage and a lot of history behind it.
It was opened not too long ago for tourism, but they setup everything orderly, so you can get to the location of interest easily. Not only the people are extremely friendly, but also able to speak English. Almost all of the Hotels and restaurants provide Internet WiFi so you can still get connected
I found everything is in reasonably priced. You can rent a taxi around USD50/day or Tuk-tuk around USD15/day and private tour guide for USD20/day. Where a day is a complete full day, literally, from sunrise to sunset.
Guess what? Also, you can get a glass of Angkor Beer for just 50 cent.
I managed to take some of the photos with Canon Camera that my sweet cousin lent me. Even though I just learnt photography couple weeks ago, hope you can still find them pleasant to see…
