Yesterday was my hubby’s brithday… We didn’t do anything fancy, just went for a wine dinner at Rang Mahal. It was quite interesting though, every dish was paired with an extremely compatible wine.
We had the honor of having Filiberto explain each wine to us as we went through the different courses. He is from the family that founded and runs the Marchesi Incisa della Rocchetta vineyard which is more than 150 years old! Marchesi Incisa della Rocchetta vineyard is near Switzerland and just an hour away from Milan *is there anywhere closer to heaven than this???* www.lacortechiusa.it
Initially we thought that Indian food and wine might not be a superb match, but surprise surprise, it turned out to be quite a surreal gastronomic experience! I thought the very best was the last one – the moscato… its tastes almost like apricot juice (if there is such a thing!) heh *i feel thirsty just by thinking of it now*

-im having curry craving again-
