There’s something about…November 2nd, 2009 by Stephanie Lee |
Hey peeps,
Sorry for the lack of updates for the past week. Besides being a private person who’s protective of what’s with her, I’ve been basking and taking in the spirit of the streets of New York City – without a doubt my most favorite city in the entire world! Until I do further exploration of course, maybe Rio during the olympics or something.
There’s something about waking up and doing Breakfast in new york for sure,

American fare: Corn beef hash and home fries.
Definitely an incentive if breakfast looks anything like this anytime. Well in singapore i usually only manage to do brunch. But in new york i love waking up in the morning, to the noisy streets of the big apple and venturing to an all American diner, all ready to fill my stomach with bagel, eggs and fries! And of course, coffee.
After brekkie, on a certain rainy day, I finally got around to visiting Museum of Modern Art:

Queue into the MoMa stretching across the entire avenue.
I was like GASPS!” i’m not gonna wait in the rain for I dont know how long. Looks like i’m not the only smarty pants wannabe who figured how better to spend the rainy day in the musuem. AHAH!! =( However lady luck was shining bright on me even though the sun wasnt, I went to the MoMa store and eventually made a friend who got me into the museum (skipping the line, and erm complimentary) =))))
Some of the exhibits i like in MoMA,

Giorgio de Chirico, The Duo
And this awesome shot of babelicious Brigette Bardot,

Verdict, MoMa was great but the special exhibits on the 6th floor were closed and I missed out on that. Boooo! At night I spotted something ???

So What do I DO now!!! For those who want to know, this was taken in the west village in search of marc jacobs. haha. On a side note, everywhere in Ny were brimming with the excitment of HALLOWEEN!! Overcrowded costume stores and kids with cute face paint.
That’s New York Overload for now. I’ve been so tired moving all over the big apple on foot most of the time, I desperately need a foot massage! However, If any of you are planning to go to new york, i’ll be happy to suggest places to check out. For now, I’ll leave you with picturesque Central Park.

Lovely Autumm Colours

Basking, forget grass stains =)
Till later peeps! Take care!
